Hi, I’m Courtney!

Welcome to my digital table! Whether your drink of choice is tea, coffee, wine, the hard stuff or something else, I’m glad you’re here. Convive stems from a French word meaning “guest; fellow banqueter.” Whether hosting friends at home or dining out, I love sharing community around the table.

This is a place for creative community; somewhere to write on everything from business to recipes to stories about motherhood, and more. It’s both a way to hold myself accountable to write more often and a way to connect with others in this season. I want to embrace “real life,” from the messy lack of measurements and all of the unknowns to the humor of toddler-isms and satisfaction of a good recipe. In the midst of our tech-focused, hyper-visual world, I hold strong to the truth that nothing is more powerful than words.

But first, let’s get down to the basics: I’m a marketing writer with a major sweet tooth. My husband and I have one crazy toddler boy and an (almost) equally needy dog. My ideal day includes coffee, hiking with my family, shopping and baking. My ideal night includes Scrabble and a glass of wine.
